March is Youth Art Month: Let's Celebrate!

Art pieces from all the schools in the district will be on display at the administration building for the month of March.  Jefferson will have over a hundred pieces on display!  We will also have some furniture, that was painted by our art club, that will be auctioned off during the opening reception on March 2nd from 1:00-4:00.  Hopefully you will have a chance sometime in March to stop by and view all of the beautiful pieces created by our talented students! 

 

Wayne Thiebaud Inspired Artwork

After discussing and looking at examples of Wayne Thiebaud's art, students created still lifes of deserts and sweets.  

Happy Valentine's Day!

Students in all grade levels created valentines based on the concepts of symmetry and pattern.

 

Quarter 3 Art Club

Art club members from Mr. Irwin's class are refinishing and painting old furniture that will be auctioned off at the annual Youth Art Month celebration at the administration building in March.  Here is their work in progress.  Stay tuned for pictures of the finished creations!
