Fall Birch Trees

Second and third grade multi-age class painted a fall sky, using the color wheel to mix colors.  Students then learned about and created the characteristics of birch trees.  Look at their beautiful work!

Apple art

Kindergarten/first graders practiced their cutting skills to form an apple.  We used Model Magic clay to add a worm eating our apple.  Check-out their great work!

Welcome Back!

4th/5th Grade Name Art

Hi, I am Mrs. Collins and I am the art teacher for all of the K5-5th grade students at Jefferson Elementary.  I would like to welcome all of the new and returning students back to the art room!  We had a great first week in here!  I like to start off the year with a name project because this helps us get to know each other's names.  The above picture is some examples of the 4th/5th grade name projects that we started last week.  Looks like these students are off to a good start!
